Our eight Water Cottages, Dive Centre, restaurant, walkways, and staff accommodation were built from reclaimed tropical hardwood. We sourced driftwood and naturally fallen timbers, then milled each and every piece of lumber ourselves in our portable sawmill. Aside from the clear advantages of eco-friendly building practices, this allowed us to create a remarkably consistent aesthetic with an undeviating standard of quality. All the furniture and fittings (including wardrobes, shelving, tables, beds, doors, doorhandles...) were hand-crafted on site from recycled wood by our team of resident Javanese artisans and their local apprentices.
Misool Eco Resort offers two levels of accommodation. Our eight Water Cottages are located in the North Lagoon, built on stilts over the water. They're just steps from the Dive Centre and restaurant. Stairs lead from your private veranda down into the placid lagoon, and the House Reef is about 100 fin-kicks away. We also have one deluxe villa, Villa Tabisasu, located on the eastern edge of the North Lagoon.

The Villa Tabisasu is the first deluxe villa in the Misooleco Resort. If you want to experience the most special of the extraordinary, then look no further. The spacious villa with its 120m² offers a luxurious comfortable interior. Because of its unique location it offers the perfect retreat, hidden away and intimate. At the same time the villa is ideally integrated into the resort, so that all public areas are in immediate reach.
The Villa is the only building of the resort facing east, which is situated on the ridge of the reef. This offers you the exclusive possibility to experience breathtaking sunsets from your own outside bed. From the spacious terrace you can enjoy the sheer incredible variety of marine life, like Napoleon Wrasse, Bumphead Parrotfish, Turtles, Dolphins and sometimes even Wobbegongs, while you sip on your freshly pressed mango juice. Special floodlights in the night attract whole groups of calamari which use the light as a hunting aid. But also without the floodlights you are offered the spectacle of the clear starry heavens meeting the horizon of the dark sea which itself glitters like stars with its fluorescent marine life and plankton.
Not only the space and the situation of the villa, but as well the customer service allows you to experience 'la dolce vita'. Take your breakfast undisturbed on the terrace, the service personnel looks after you all the time. Villa Tabisasu offers you a wide range of Indonesian coffee specialities or an international selection of different teas which are always available. Accompanying that you find the choicest range of homemade cookies.
Do you enjoy listening to music? Then you will be thrilled by the high-end HiFi system, with a variety of blues, jazz, classical and world music to choose from. You are also welcome to bring your own Mp3-player along to listen to your personal choice of music, while you relax and watch a tremendous sunset slowly dissolving in the sea.
