Transfer to and from our island via our private speed boat is included in the package price on scheduled transfer dates. We depart Sorong at 07:30 on alternating Sunday mornings, arriving at about 13:00 at Misool Eco Resort.

Our transport boat, Lumba Lumba, is a refitted Austrian-built rescue vessel. Powered by twin 265hp inboard diesel engines coupled with jet drives, she's extremely seaworthy. The cabin is fully enclosed and has 12 comfortable reclining seats. There is also fore and aft seating outside.

The journey to the island takes between four and five hours. After leaving Sorong harbour, the first third of our trip takes us through a mangrove-lined strait with unbroken swathes of jungle on either side.

The second part of the trip crosses open water, where we are often escorted by dolphins. You will see massive schools of bonito tuna feeding at the surface, and whale sightings are not unheard of.
